Strengthening ties between the innovation ecosystems of Montenegro and the USA

Today, we had the honor of hosting a delegation from the U.S. Department of Commerce – CLDP (Commercial Law Development Program) at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, led by Zmarak Khan, Deputy Chief Counsel, and his team, with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Montenegro.

At the meeting with the director of the Science and technology park of Montenegro, ms. Valentina Radulović, and the Director of the Technology Transfer Office, Dr. Srna Sudar, discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in transferring technology and knowledge from the U.S. innovation system into the Montenegrin context.

The meeting topics included:

  • the development of mechanisms for more efficient knowledge transfer from universities to the market,
  • strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit within the academic community,
  • support for the transformation of Montenegrin higher education into a sustainable, practical, and entrepreneurship-oriented ecosystem.

We believe that Montenegro, with the contribution of the Science and technology park of Montenegro, has the potential to become a dynamic hub of knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Through this kind of international cooperation, we are building the foundations for a sustainable and inclusive innovation ecosystem, ready to meet the challenges of modern society.
