Participation of representatives of the Science and technology park of Montenegro at the regional gathering on digital innovation in Niš

Representatives of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro participated in the 3rd Regional Workshop of Digital Innovation Hubs, held at the Science and Technology Park Niš from June 11 to 12. The event was organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the European Union, and the accompanying program included the announcement of the 9th Forum of Advanced Technologies 2025 – TechMomentum.

Our team was represented by Radivoje Drobnjak, Program Activities Manager, and Vladan Mašanović, Associate in the same department. They actively participated in the workshops “Mapping Regional DIHs Strengths & Lessons Learned” and “Designing the Future Instruments for DIHs,” alongside representatives of Digital Innovation Hubs from the Western Balkans.

While the sessions focused on identifying key strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the regional innovation ecosystem, special emphasis was placed on synergy and interregional cooperation. Participants analyzed lessons learned from the two previous DIH support programs (2023 and 2024), identified best practices and emerging challenges, and examined case studies from various hubs. This approach lays the foundation for the development of tailored support instruments that will further foster sustainable growth and regional competitiveness.

In addition, our representatives attended the pre-acceleration program “Launcher,” implemented by the Science and Technology Park Niš with the aim of preparing startup teams for further development and investment opportunities.

Participation in such events strengthens regional cooperation, enables the exchange of experiences, and enhances the support that Digital Innovation Hubs provide to innovative companies in the process of digital transformation.
