The Science and technology park of Montenegro (STP MNE) proudly announces the launch of a new round of public calls for tenant applications, following the exceptionally successful first cycle. The initial calls resulted in great interest and enabled the creation of a dynamic community of innovators, startups, and tech companies within the STP.

In this new round, the calls are once again focused on startups, spin-offs, and legal entities in the field of innovation, continuing our efforts to strengthen the innovation ecosystem of Montenegro and provide support to entrepreneurship, research, and development.

1.Public call for Startups/Spin-offs and teams with innovative potential

STP MNE invites all startups, spin-offs, and teams with innovative potential to apply for admission to the STP facilities. Eligible to participate are startups and spin-offs based in Montenegro, as well as informal teams focused on the development of innovative or high-tech products, services, or processes.

The conditions for participation include:

–heir requirements align with the infrastructure capacities available at STP MNE.

No liquidation or bankruptcy proceedings are underway against them;

-They regularly fulfill their obligations for personal income tax and contributions, corporate income tax, value-added tax, or regularly settle restructured tax liabilities.

The legal representative has not been convicted of criminal offenses against the economy and the environment, bribery, or fraud;

They do not operate in any of the following areas: manufacturing/trading of weapons and ammunition, manufacturing/trading of alcoholic beverages (except beer and wine), manufacturing/trading of excise goods, or gambling.

The product or technology does not harm biodiversity and/or pose a threat to the environment.

2. Public Call for Legal Entities Engaged in Innovation Activities

STP MNE invites micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, large companies with research and development departments, and licensed research institutions to apply for admission to STP MNE. Eligible legal entities must meet the following conditions: Their requirements align with the infrastructure capacities available at STP MNE.      

No liquidation or bankruptcy proceedings are underway against them;

They regularly fulfill their obligations for personal income tax and contributions, corporate income tax, value-added tax, or regularly settle restructured tax liabilities;

The legal representative has not been convicted of criminal offenses against the economy and the environment, bribery, or fraud;

They do not operate in any of the following areas: manufacturing/trading of weapons and ammunition, manufacturing/trading of alcoholic beverages (except beer and wine), manufacturing/trading of excise goods, or gambling;

They have been operating positively in the last two years; A license from the relevant ministry for research institutions.

Foreign companies that wish to relocate their research and development departments to the Science and technology park of Montenegro will be required to register in Montenegro in accordance with the Company Law.

Application details and deadline:

Applications must be submitted exclusively online, through the STP MNE websitehttps://konkursi.ntpark.me/ , The public calls will remain open until the available infrastructure capacities at STP MNE are filled.

The evaluation process will be conducted continuously, in accordance with the pace of incoming applications. After a positive assessment, candidates will be required to submit the necessary documentation in original or notarized form, no older than three months.
