During the visit, the delegation was hosted by ms. Valentina Radulovi\u0107, executive director of STP Montenegro,\u00a0 Srna Sudar,phd director of the Technology transfer office at STP Montengro, and mr. Radivoje Drobnjak, program manager at STP Montenegro.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was an opportunity to exchange information on the possibilities for enhancing cooperation between Montenegro and the United Kingdom in the fields of innovation, technology, and knowledge transfer. Special focus was placed on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support for the development of the innovation ecosystem \u2013 discussions focused on initiatives through which the United Kingdom could support the development of startups, technology transfer, and the application of scientific research in the economy, also considering the promotion of efficiency in resource usage and addressing challenges related to technological and innovative development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Connecting science and business<\/strong> \u2013 the need for a more intense integration of university\/scientific research and innovations into the business sector was emphasized, with the active role of STP Montenegro highlighted as a bridge between the academic community and industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Building on existing collaboration<\/strong> \u2013 the possibilities for continuing and expanding activities that were previously carried out in cooperation with <strong>the British Council in Montenegro were discussed.<\/strong>&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This visit represents another step towards strengthening international cooperation and creating new opportunities for the Montenegrin innovation ecosystem.&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Montenegrin Science and technology park remains committed to building strong partnerships that foster progress in science, technology, and entrepreneurship, with the goal of social and economic development, as well as strengthening sustainable development in Montenegro.&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n&#13;\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Science and technology park of Montenegro had the honor of hosting Her Excellency Dawn McKen, the ambassador of the United Kingdom to Montenegro, and Emma Toms, the head of the program at the British embassy.
