A meeting was held at the Science and technology<\/strong> park of Montenegro<\/strong> with representatives from the faculty of<\/strong> Medicine of the University of Montenegro<\/strong>, aimed at strengthening collaboration in the fields of scientific research, innovation, and technology transfer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The meeting was attended by prof.Miodrag<\/strong> Radunovi\u0107,phd. <\/strong>dean of the faculty of Medicine at the University of Montenegro, and Ma\u0161a \u017ddralevi\u0107, phd<\/strong>, head of the Laboratory for molecular medicine and research associate at the Institute for advanced studies. Representing the Science and technology park of Montenegro, present were ms. Valentina<\/strong> Radulovi\u0107<\/strong>, executive director, Srna Sudar,phd.<\/strong> director of the Technology Transfer Office, and mr.<\/strong> Radivoje<\/strong> Drobnjak,<\/strong> program manager.<\/p>\n\n

During the meeting, representatives of the faculty of<\/strong> Medicine at the University of Montenegro<\/strong> presented their extensive scientific and research work, as well as international cooperation with prestigious<\/strong> medical centers across Europe, North America, and Canada.<\/strong> These activities enable an interdisciplinary approach to key healthcare challenges and strengthen<\/strong> the connection between science and medical practice.<\/p>\n\n

On the other hand, the Science and technology park of<\/strong> Montenegro<\/strong> presented strategic initiatives aimed at connecting the academic community with Montenegro’s innovative ecosystem.<\/strong> The focus is on encouraging researchers and innovators to utilize advanced scientific research<\/strong> resources and infrastructure to contribute to solving current societal and healthcare challenges. \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The result of this collaboration is already visible through the joint application of the Institute for advanced studies\/Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro, the Science and technology park of Montenegro, and the Technology transfer office<\/strong> for funding from the National Fund for Research Excellence. This step confirms the commitment of the Science and<\/strong> technology park of Montenegro<\/strong> to improving scientific excellence<\/strong> and knowledge transfer in Montenegro, strengthening the connection between science and industry.<\/strong> \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The meeting marked an important step in strengthening the synergy between science, business, and innovation, a<\/strong>nd further joint projects were planned to contribute to the improvement of the healthcare system and encourage innovative approaches in medical research.<\/strong> \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0 \n \n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The Science and technology park of Montenegro<\/strong> remains dedicated to its mission of supporting science,<\/strong> research, and innovation, building strong partnerships between the academic sector and the economy.
