Within the StoreMore project, in which the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro participates as one of 11 partners from 10 countries of the Danube region, a successful Capitalization Event<\/strong> was organized, along with a meeting of project partners and a Steering Committee meeting held in Romania from May 5 to 7. \n \nWith a warm welcome, the partners had the opportunity to reunite on the occasion of the project\u2019s completion and to celebrate its successful implementation.<\/p>\n\n

The working part of the meeting showed that StoreMore is not an isolated initiative, but part of a much broader green mosaic in which ideas from related projects intersect, jointly shaping a sustainable energy landscape in this part of Europe. \n \nThe Danube GeoHeCo<\/strong> project was also presented, offering an affordable, low-cost energy source through the integration of shallow geothermal energy into existing heating and cooling systems. \n \nThese objectives are further complemented by the Danube Indeet<\/strong> project, which focuses on linking energy and transport systems. This complementary concept foresees the use of electric vehicles as mobile storage units and green hydrogen for grid balancing, thereby directly strengthening the region\u2019s energy independence.<\/p>\n\n

The emphasis on creating various innovative solutions for renewable energy storage in the Danube region was also highlighted through the RESolution<\/strong> project, thereby directly supporting energy stability and accelerating the transition to clean and renewable energy sources.<\/p>\n\n

Representatives of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Anja Grabovica and Aleksandar Jani\u010di\u0107,<\/strong> together with project partners, visited the Oradea Heating Plant in Oradea, which represents a successful example of a major transition from coal to clean geothermal energy sources. \n \nThey also visited the Osorhei solar power plant, which integrates an advanced hybrid system with batteries for energy storage and grid balancing. Through these site visits, representatives of the NTP and their partners witnessed on the ground the practical application of cutting-edge solutions for large-scale production, stabilization, and storage of green energy.<\/p>\n\n

During the working sessions, the project partners conducted a detailed review of all achieved results and implemented activities, confirming that the project had been successfully carried out to the satisfaction of all partners.<\/p>\n\n

The StoreMore project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg Danube Programme, and this three-day meeting confirmed the importance of regional cooperation and set guidelines for the finalization of the project. The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro is proud of its participation and contribution to the development of sustainable energy solutions in the Danube region.<\/em><\/p>\n\n
