On the occasion of the completion of the POLICY ANSWERS<\/strong> project, in which the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro is one of 14 partners, a two-day event was organised in Tirana, marking the conclusion of the project\u2019s activities and results.<\/p>\n\n

The event brought together representatives of partner organisations, policymakers, experts, researchers, and key stakeholders from the Western Balkans and the European Union, with the aim of reviewing the achieved results and discussing future directions for regional cooperation in the fields of research and innovation.<\/p>\n\n

On the first day, the objectives set at the beginning of the project and the implementation process were presented, along with an overview of the key activities carried out in the previous period.<\/p>\n\n

Through workshops and presentations, the partners highlighted the importance of the project in the areas of policy dialogue, capacity building, and the implementation of pilot initiatives. The expected impact in the period following the project\u2019s completion was also presented, as well as its contribution to strengthening institutional and research capacities.<\/p>\n\n

On behalf of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro<\/strong>, the event was attended by PR and marketing specialist Milica Jovan\u010devi\u0107<\/strong>, as well as expert for the implementation of donor-funded project activities Sanja Popovac.<\/strong> Our colleagues actively participated in the discussions and presented the way in which STP Montenegro<\/strong> contributed to the project\u2019s implementation through the organisation and delivery of trainings aimed at strengthening the innovation community.<\/p>\n\n

At the final event, two panels presented the key project outcomes for each country and their contribution to the Western Balkans Agenda<\/strong>, with a special focus on improving policy dialogue and strengthening regional cooperation.<\/p>\n\n

The results for Montenegro were presented by Ms. Aleksandra Mugo\u0161a<\/strong> from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, who highlighted the importance of cooperation with the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, emphasising the positive experience and satisfaction with participation in the trainings organised within the POLICY ANSWERS project.<\/p>\n\n

She particularly highlighted the importance of the trainings for strengthening capacities and improving the processes of preparing and implementing project applications within the Horizon programme, emphasising that the knowledge and skills acquired contributed to better preparedness and greater success of representatives from the private and public sectors, as well as the academic community, in applying for international projects.<\/p>\n\n

Ms. Mugo\u0161a assessed the cooperation as highly successful, stating that the organised trainings have been recognised as an important tool for further skills development, which is why their continuous implementation by the Ministry is planned. She also emphasised the importance of continuing cooperation and further enhancing joint activities aimed at strengthening the research and innovation system.<\/p>\n\n

The event concluded with a study visit to Barleti University in Tirana,<\/strong> where participants had the opportunity to gain direct insight into the development of the innovation ecosystem in Albania, further strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience among partners.<\/p>\n\n

The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro expresses satisfaction with its participation in the POLICY ANSWERS<\/em> project, which resulted in the successful implementation of numerous activities and achieved significant participant engagement, thereby confirming the relevance and quality of its content, and announces the continuation of activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
