The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Taiwan Representative Office, once again confirming its commitment to the exchange of experiences in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n
During the visit, the representatives, in partnership with STP Montenegro, organized a screening of the documentary \u201cA Chip Odyssey,\u201d presenting the impressive story of Taiwan\u2019s development into one of the global leaders in the semiconductor industry.<\/p>\n\n
Before the screening, the Executive Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Ms. Valentina Radulovi\u0107, addressed the guests. She emphasized the importance of STP in the development of Montenegro\u2019s innovation ecosystem. She also spoke about the importance of technological advancement for the competitiveness of domestic companies, the exchange of knowledge and experiences with global partners, and the creation of an environment that encourages creativity, technological development, and the application of modern digital solutions across various sectors.<\/p>\n\n
The attendees were also addressed by Elliot Wang, a member of the Representative Office, who highlighted Taiwan\u2019s inspiring progress in the semiconductor industry and introduced the theme of the documentary, as well as Scott Huang, a representative of the Hsinchu Science Park.<\/p>\n\n
The film, which was the central part of the event, tells the story of Taiwan\u2019s success\u2014a success that did not happen by chance or overnight, but was significantly supported by government actions that focused on science and technology, particularly the development of integrated circuits, during a period of major economic and political uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n
Technology transfer and the process of learning and skill development in this field have delivered exceptional results for Taiwan\u2019s economy, and the main message of the film highlights the importance of investing in human capital and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n
