The Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Ms. Valentina Radulovi\u0107,<\/strong> is one of the authors of the recently published international study, \u201cMapping Montenegro\u2019s Potential in the Context of Smart Specialisation,<\/strong>\u201d available in the JRC Publications Repository<\/strong> of the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This report provides a comprehensive analysis of Montenegro\u2019s potential in the context of Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3)<\/strong> and serves as an analytical basis for the upcoming Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP), which defines Montenegro\u2019s strategic priorities for the next development period (2026\u20132031).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study combines economic, scientific, and innovation data to identify sectors with the greatest potential for growth and international competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The analysis identifies five preliminary priority areas for Montenegro\u2019s S3 strategy for the period 2026\u20132031: Construction, Energy and Sustainable Environment, Sustainable Agriculture and Food, Digital Innovation and Transformation, and Innovative and Sustainable Tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While sectors such as Construction and Energy stand out for their role in infrastructure and green transitions, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Tourism sectors emerge as pillars of high growth, significantly contributing to GDP and export potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valentina Radulovi\u0107 emphasizes that this publication is the result of multidisciplinary collaboration between domestic and European experts and provides an important framework for strategic decision-making in the fields of innovation, economy, and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
