The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (STP MNE), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and the European Patent Organization (EPO), is organizing the grand opening of the PATLIB Center \u201cIP4Innovation,<\/strong>\u201d which will take place on December 1, 2025<\/strong>, starting at 10:00 AM in the “MVP” conference hall on the second floor of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PATLIB Center will operate within the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and will serve as the national contact point for support in the field of intellectual property. As part of the European network of over 300 PATLIB centers,<\/strong> it will provide access to relevant information, expertise, and advisory services for researchers, innovators, startup companies, and institutions. The opening of the center represents an important step in strengthening Montenegro\u2019s innovation ecosystem, promoting the strategic use of intellectual property rights and the commercialization of research results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will bring together representatives from the EPO, relevant ministries, the academic community, startups, and the broader innovation ecosystem. The program includes a professional session, a panel discussion, and the official presentation of the PATLIB Center, providing an opportunity for dialogue, experience sharing, and the identification of future needs of innovation stakeholders in Montenegro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STP MNE invites all relevant institutions, researchers, business entities, and representatives of the innovation community to participate in the event, contributing to the development of the intellectual property protection system and the strengthening of the overall innovation environment in the country.\n\nYour participation is important for shaping future support programs and building a stronger infrastructure in the field of intellectual property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
