Create. Protect.&#8221;<\/strong> Today\u2019s event was dedicated to ideas, their creators \u2013 and the future that all stakeholders are building together.<\/p>\n\n<p>As part of this important event, a panel discussion was held, bringing together representatives from institutions, the economy, and the academic community \u2013 key stakeholders of the innovation system: the <strong>Ministry of Economic Development<\/strong>, <strong>the Chamber of Commerce, the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, and the Technology Transfer Office<\/strong>. Through the exchange of opinions and experiences, the discussion focused on how ideas can go beyond the paper and find their way \u2013 to protection, partners, and the market.<\/p>\n\n<p>The panel featured speeches from:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dragana Ranitovi\u0107<\/strong>, head of the Intellectual Property Department (Ministry of Economic Development)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prof.Mladen Perazi\u0107<\/strong>,\u00a0 phd, the director of the Education sector (Chamber of commerce of Montenegro)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Srna Sudar<\/strong>, phd, director of the Technology Transfer Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bal\u0161a Ka\u0161\u0107elan<\/strong>,phd, teaching associate (Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro)&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The discussion was moderated by <strong>mr. Radivoje Drobnjak<\/strong>, Program Manager at the Montenegro Science and Technology Park, and all participants agreed on one thing: <strong>the protection of innovations is a shared responsibility, but also a shared opportunity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>As part of the program, <strong>Filip Lazovi\u0107<\/strong> from the Employers&#8217; Union of Montenegro led an interactive workshop titled &#8220;<strong>From<\/strong> <strong>Idea to Protection.<\/strong>&#8221; Participants learned how to identify innovations worthy of protection, which legal mechanisms (copyright, patent, trademark, industrial design) they can use, and what the entire process looks like in practice. Through concrete examples and open discussions, participants were further empowered to present their ideas and take them to the next level. This event resulted in turning knowledge into action, and ideas into a plan.&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The Technology Transfer Office (TTO),<\/strong> as a bridge between science and business, plays a special role in this innovation ecosystem. The mission of the Office is clear: <strong>to help ideas move from the laboratory to the market, from research to entrepreneurship.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>At the Technology Transfer Office and the Montenegro Science and Technology Park, we believe that innovations do not happen by chance.
