Dr. Milena \u0110ukanovi\u0107, speaking on “Bojama jutra,” stated that the project will last until the end of October and that a unique product is expected, which will make Montenegro recognizable in the fight against COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project “3DP Research and Innovations for COVID-19” from the Faculty of Electrical engineering of the University of Montenegro, in collaboration with the Science and technology park, the Clinical Center, and Vrije University from Brussels, has received a grant of \u20ac38,500 from the Montenegrin Ministry of Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team will work throughout the summer on the design of a new product\u2014a 3D printed mask that will indicate if a person has a high temperature. The masks will be made from two types of materials\u2014temperature-sensitive filament and upgraded PLA filament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will create a special mask design. The largest portion of the budget will go towards equipment, which will continue to be used. Now we will have significantly better equipment. Our focus is to engage as many young researchers as possible,\u201d said \u0110ukanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Velibor Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 from the Science and Technology Park stated that the role was to participate in the project through joint efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the future, we will support such projects and participate in creating new ideas. We will work together on the full implementation. It has been shown that the potential of 3D printing can be significant,\u201d Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
